Whangārei Harbour
Marina Management Trust
The Whangārei Harbour Marina Management Trust oversees two unique marinas in the heart of Whangārei — Ōkara Marina and Town Basin Marina. These marinas provide a diverse range of berthage options, facilities, and services for local boaties, liveaboards, cruising yachts, and international visitors. As a charitable trust, the organisation is committed to delivering high-quality marina infrastructure, supporting the wider marine community, and reinvesting surpluses into the ongoing improvement of marina facilities and local water-based activities.

About the Trust
The Whangarei Harbour Marina Management Trust provides marina berths for the benefit of Whangarei City. It is governed by volunteers, with a small team of employees. The trust returns profits to watersports by allocating grants annually to local water sports organisations such as the Rowing Club, Sea Scouts, Waka ama, Sailing Clubs, School Sailing Teams and the Whangarei Waka Trust.
